AirPosture is a posture coaching app for iPhone and Mac that uses the motion sensors in your AirPods to detect slouching in real time and guide you back upright.
You sit tall and set your upright baseline, and the app reads the pitch and roll of your head from your AirPods. When your head drifts forward, a calm voice coach speaks a short cue in your ear, with no camera or extra hardware needed.
Coaching keeps working with your iPhone locked and in your pocket. You can choose a voice cue, a soft chime or a phone tap, set how soon and how often it speaks, mute it for meetings, or let it escalate if you keep ignoring it.
Key features include a live 0 to 100 posture score, saved sessions, quick 30-second resets, a Walking Mode that cues you to lift your gaze when looking down at your phone, and a weekly posture health score blending sitting, walking and resets.
On the Mac, AirPosture lives in the menu bar and shows a quiet cue from the notch during long focus sessions. Sessions sync between iPhone and Mac through your own iCloud.
Posture processing runs on your device, with no account required and no third-party ad tracking. Optional social and AI features use service providers, and Premium adds AI-written coaching based on your day.
Pricing: free for up to 2 hours of tracking a day. Premium removes the daily cap and costs 7.99 USD a month, 39.99 USD a year with a 7-day free trial, or 79.99 USD once for lifetime access. It requires AirPods Pro, AirPods 3 or later, or AirPods Max and iOS 17 or later.
It is suited to desk workers, students and anyone dealing with tech neck or forward head posture who already owns compatible AirPods.
