ShogunAI is an AI-powered private memory assistant for Mac that keeps track of the work you allow it to see across email, meetings, documents, calendar and the apps you use.
It builds a record of your work as you go, so you can recall context, prepare for what comes next and reply without explaining things twice. Each record keeps the evidence behind it, so you can see where a decision or detail came from.
Key features include passive memory capture, natural-language recall, meeting notes with recaps of decisions and action items, and a private visual history of your screen that you can search in plain words or scroll back through by time.
It also offers meeting prep with the background you need before a call, a view of your schedule and priorities for the day, and help rewriting rough messages in your own voice or preparing replies with the relevant context already included.
Reading is automatic, but anything that sends or posts waits for your approval. Memory is stored and encrypted on your computer, screenshots delete themselves after a set period, and only the slice of data a request needs ever leaves the device.
ShogunAI works alongside apps such as Gmail, Notion, Cursor, GitHub, Perplexity, LinkedIn, Figma, Dropbox, Telegram and Google Sheets, and you can connect a supported AI service for answers and drafts. The Pro plan lets you use your ShogunAI memory in other AI tools.
Pricing: the Mac app can be tried free for 7 days. After that there are two paid plans, Standard and Pro, shown at about $49 and $99 per month, with a 20 percent saving on annual billing. Pro adds memory sharing with other AI tools, review and approval of emails and app actions, and priority support.
It is suited to founders, product managers, consultants, engineers and other knowledge workers whose work is spread across email, meetings, chat and documents and who switch context throughout the day. It is available on macOS, with a Windows version listed separately.
