Veena is an AI-native digital audio workstation (DAW) that runs in the browser. Its built-in AI CoProducer helps musicians compose, produce and mix a song layer by layer inside the session, so users direct, choose or record each part rather than prompting for a finished track.
The CoProducer works with audio, MIDI and effects models, and can convert recordings into other sounds, such as turning a hummed or sung part into a guitar solo or a choir through audio-to-audio and audio-to-MIDI conversion.
Key studio features include a timeline, piano roll, mixer and in-app recording, an MPC-style sampler, MIDI editing, effect chains, real-time pitch correction, a text-to-audio generator, a MIDI pattern generator and a preset library of sounds, loops and one-shots.
Other AI tools include a sample finder, automatic key and BPM detection, stem separation for isolating vocals and instruments, and AI-assisted mixing.
Veena supports real-time collaboration in shared sessions. Users can run their own VST and AU plugins in the browser through the free Veena Bridge, connect MIDI devices and microphones, and export WAV, MP3, MIDI or individual stems without watermarks.
Pricing: the Free plan includes the full studio, the CoProducer with a daily request allowance, all exports, stem separation, plugins and live collaboration. Veena Pro costs USD 20 per month and removes the daily request cap and the 5-project limit and adds premium models.
