VoiceLearn is an AI-powered language coach that teaches you to speak a new language through real out-loud voice conversations rather than flashcards.
You pick a language and level, and an AI voice coach starts a spoken conversation with you. It listens, responds and corrects you naturally, switching to English when you get stuck, teaching the missing phrase and then handing the conversation back to you.
Languages currently offered are Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, German and Russian. Each language has coaches for beginner, intermediate and advanced learners covering topics from greetings and everyday phrases through to full storytelling.
Key features include adaptive difficulty, progress tracking, priority voice quality, romaji shown alongside Japanese characters, and pinyin with tone marks for Mandarin lessons. Russian lessons guide you through Cyrillic, cases and everyday phrases.
It runs in the web browser with no app to install and no scheduling, so you can practise for five minutes at lunch or for a longer session late at night. The site also publishes side-by-side comparisons with tools such as Duolingo, Babbel, italki and Speak.
Pricing: a 14-day free trial with no card required. After the trial, the All Languages plan is 9.99 USD per month for 75 voice minutes per month, and All Languages Pro is 19.99 USD per month for 200 voice minutes plus early access to new languages. A launch offer gives early learners 100 trial voice minutes and a locked-in rate.
