Anywear is an AI-powered live virtual try-on tool from Decart that lets shoppers see clothing from any online store on themselves through their own camera.
Users drag a clothing image from the store page they are browsing onto their camera feed, and the garment appears on them in about a second and a half.
Unlike photo-based try-on tools that return one generated still image from an uploaded selfie, Anywear renders the garment at video frame rate, so users can turn, raise their arms or walk back and watch how the fabric moves and drapes.
It runs on Decart's Lucy V-TON video model and works on any online store rather than a partner list, including sites such as Revolve, Pinterest boards and small Shopify boutiques.
On a computer it is a Chrome extension, and on a phone the Anywear web app does the same job. No account or photo upload is needed, and nothing is uploaded when the camera is turned on.
For retailers, a business version adds the same live try-on widget to product pages with one line of code, or with one click on Shopify, and works with WooCommerce and other sites. Store owners can also preview a private demo on their own product pages before going live.
The site notes that it shows how a garment looks rather than what size to order, and that fitted items, plain backgrounds and normal-paced movement give the best results.
Pricing: the shopper extension is free during the beta, with no account required. For stores, installation is free to trial, with larger rollouts arranged by talking to the Anywear team.
It is suited to online shoppers who want to check how clothes look before buying, and to fashion retailers and e-commerce stores that want interactive try-on on their product pages.
