App Store Screenshots is a free, open-source skill for AI coding agents that designs App Store and Google Play screenshots for your app.
You install the skill once, then ask your agent to build screenshots. The agent asks a few questions about what the app does, its best features, the devices and languages you need, the look you want and how many slides to make, then writes the headlines.
The skill builds a local screenshot editor inside your project, where you can tweak the canvas, screens and copy before exporting.
Key features include 18 visual styles, a Style Lab for comparing looks, editable copy, multi-language output and export of every required size for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, plus Google Play feature graphics.
It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, OpenCode and other agents, and is installed with the command npx skills add followed by the project name. The project is open source on GitHub.
The site reports more than 14,000 installs and over 43 apps live on the stores using screenshots made with the skill.
Your work is saved locally in your own project, and you can keep changing slides, copy and styles after the agent has finished.
Pricing: the skill is free with no screenshot subscription. It runs locally, so the only costs are your usual AI agent costs.
It is suited to indie developers and app teams who want store-ready screenshots in several sizes and languages without a design tool subscription.
