Longformly is an AI long-form video generator for YouTube that turns a pasted script, or a topic and a length, into a finished video of up to 60 minutes.
It is made for faceless channels in niches such as history for sleep, space documentaries, true crime, finance, science and sleep stories, and you can also set up your own niche. History for sleep and space are tuned end to end, each with its own looks, script templates, voices and soundscapes.
Each video includes narration, scenes planned from your script, slow motion and light effects, ambient sound and captions. You can choose from a range of British and American narrator voices with slow pacing and natural pauses suited to sleep content.
Scripts are written chapter by chapter, with each part aware of what came before, so long videos keep an even tone. For history content the tool checks period details, and images are either made for your video or drawn from licensed or public-domain archives.
Every download is a 1080p MP4 that comes with an .srt captions file, thumbnails and a credits.txt listing the source of every image and sound, which can be pasted into a video description.
You watch a free 10-second preview of your own video first, with no card and no account, and pay only if you want the full video. Failed renders are never charged.
Pricing: the first video costs US$6.90, then US$9.90 per video up to 60 minutes. Credit packs that never expire start at US$48 for 2,450 credits, and an hour-long video uses 435 credits. Monthly plans such as Creator at US$58 a month and Studio at US$106 a month are listed but need a free account, which was not yet open at the time of writing.
It is suited to YouTube creators running faceless channels who want hour-long narrated videos without filming or editing.
