MossImage Studio is an AI-powered image generator that runs the open-source MOSS-Image text-to-image model in the browser, with nothing to install and no model weights to download.
It is an independent, unofficial community site and is not affiliated with OpenMOSS, the developer of the model. MOSS-Image is a 5B-parameter diffusion transformer model released under the Apache-2.0 licence.
The model is known for rendering readable text inside images in English and Chinese, which makes it useful for posters, flyers, product shots, thumbnails, T-shirt graphics and illustrations.
Key features include a text prompt mode and a layout mode for controlling where elements sit, 1:1, 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios, Standard (about 1 MP) and HD (about 2 MP) quality, and example prompts you can load and change.
The site also offers a layout editor, a flyer generator, a Christmas card maker and a tool that turns a family photo into a Christmas photo, plus guides on running MOSS-Image in ComfyUI.
Using it takes three steps: write a prompt with any exact words in quotation marks, choose the ratio and quality, then generate and download. Images usually appear in under a minute.
Pricing: new accounts get 3 free credits after signing in with Google or GitHub, and free images carry a small watermark. One-time credit packs cost $4.99 for 30 credits, $9.99 for 80 credits and $24.99 for 250 credits. Credits never expire, a standard image costs 1 credit and an HD image costs 2. Buying any pack removes the watermark, and failed generations are refunded.
