Plantripr is an AI-powered trip planner that builds day-by-day travel itineraries in seconds from a destination, travel dates, trip length and the people travelling.
It searches Google Places around each area of a trip, so every stop is a real place with its own photo, rating and map position. The AI then picks and orders sights, meals and rest breaks in walking order, showing walk or ride times and distances between stops.
Users can set pace, choose from 12 travel vibes, add kids, infants and pets, pick a step-free option and set dietary needs when signed in. Every plan can be changed by swapping or reordering stops, or by adding flights, trains and hotels.
Key features include a map of each day, live events from Ticketmaster on the travel dates, optional Viator tours, export to Apple, Google or Outlook calendar, PDF or spreadsheet, a per-person budget with bill split, and a packing checklist.
Tripr AI is a built-in chat assistant that knows the plan stop by stop. It answers questions such as what is next or how far a place is, and can plan larger trips such as road trips through conversation.
Trips can be shared with travel companions, who can view stops, vote and leave notes while the owner keeps control. The site also hosts travel guides written by users and works in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian.
Pricing: guests can plan one trip free with no sign-up, and a free account gives two trips a month. Premium costs 4.99 GBP a month or 47.88 GBP a year with a 3-day free trial, and credit packs start from 1.99 GBP.
It is suited to travellers, families and groups who want a realistic, timed itinerary for a city break or longer trip.
