raea, the Render Anything Engine, is a free local engine that renders videos, motion graphics, 3D scenes and games that an AI agent describes in code.
Users tell their existing AI agent what to make, and raea renders the result, picture and sound, on their own computer. The site says it renders faster than the output plays.
Getting started involves pasting a short install prompt into an AI agent such as Claude Code, or installing raea directly. It runs on a Mac with Apple Silicon or on Linux x86_64 and needs no account.
Example projects on the site include short UGC-style product ads, a narrated history film and a walkable narrated game, each written as code by an agent and rendered by raea.
Key areas covered include video editing, game development, desktop apps and a headless CLI that can run on a user's own machines or servers at scale.
raea works with the AI the user already has, whether that is a Claude Code or similar subscription, an API key or a local model, and it does not resell model usage.
Pricing: raea is free to use, with no per-render fees, because rendering happens on the user's own GPU. The code is source-available under FSL-1.1, with each version becoming Apache-2.0 two years after release.
It is suited to developers, marketers and creators who already use AI coding agents and want to produce ads, films, motion graphics or games locally without paying for cloud rendering. Users can also run it headless on their own hardware for larger volumes of work.
