ahaboard is an AI tutor that talks a student through a problem while drawing every step on a whiteboard, including graphs, diagrams and working.
Students can snap a photo of a problem or simply ask out loud. Like a human tutor, it works out where the student is stuck, explains it step by step, and lets them interrupt at any time to ask why or get a different explanation.
It covers subjects such as maths, physics, chemistry, biology and history, using visuals like curves, force diagrams, reaction rates, Punnett squares and historical maps to make ideas easier to understand.
Key features include Topic mode for learning concepts, Exam Prep mode that turns uploaded study guides or notes into a run-through of key points, common traps and a short quiz, and Homework mode that gives one hint at a time so students solve problems themselves rather than copying answers.
Each session ends with notes and a quick quiz, boards can be downloaded on paid plans, and the tutor works on phones and supports languages including English, Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Malay.
Pricing: new users get 30 free minutes with no card needed, then a free tier of two 10-minute lessons a day. Paid plans give unlimited lessons and are offered weekly, quarterly, annually or as a one-off three-month payment, with prices shown in local currency.
It is suited to high school and university students who want help with homework and exam revision, and there are dedicated pages for parents and schools.
