Datastripes is an AI-assisted data analysis and business intelligence tool that turns spreadsheet and data files into dashboards and web apps. Users drop in an Excel, CSV, JSON or NDJSON file and the site builds KPIs, up to eight charts and a profile of every column in the browser.
The free step runs entirely in the browser, and the site states that rows stay on the user's device. When the AI features are used, the AI only receives a compressed schema of the data rather than the rows themselves.
Users can ask the AI to build a custom dashboard around their data, or start from dashboards made by experts and shared by the community. Templates are listed for sources such as GA4, Shopify, Stripe, HubSpot, Google Ads, SAP and Business Central.
Key features include automatic detection of dimensions and metrics, a data stories feature that writes headlines, charts and findings from an uploaded spreadsheet, forecasting, anomaly detection, scenario modelling and Monte Carlo simulations. Embeddable dashboard, forecast and anomaly widgets are also offered for developers.
Dashboards can be deployed to a shareable link, with an optional password.
Pricing: the instant dashboard step is free. The homepage lists a pay-per-file option of 5 euros per file for an AI-built custom dashboard and 5 euros to deploy a link. The pricing page lists a Free plan, a Starter plan from 9 euros a month, and a Pro plan from 39 euros a month, with yearly and lifetime options on paid plans.
