fastbrowse is an open source, AI-powered browser agent that completes web workflows and returns results backed by quoted page text you can verify.
It lists the controls on a page, chooses an action, then checks the result. A model called Jev picks the operation and target in one request, while the main LLM plans the task and reads longer passages.
Factual answers cite quotes copied from the page, and fastbrowse checks those quotes and the task requirements before marking a task complete. Each result includes the steps taken, model calls and cost, and a benchmarks page compares speed and cost.
Credentials stay out of model prompts. Secrets are passed by name and only resolve on allowed websites, and built-in Bitwarden support can fill saved logins and one-time codes. It asks for approval before actions it classes as irreversible.
It can run hosted in a sandboxed Chrome, locally on your own machine, in a Browser Use Cloud browser, or attached to an existing session with a saved profile. It can be used from Codex or Claude Code and through Nebula, and the code is MIT licensed on GitHub.
Pricing: the hosted service charges per run. The Free plan needs no card and includes $2 of runs a month. Starter is $29 a month, Pro is $199 a month and Scale is $999 a month, with Enterprise on agreed terms.
A skill is available so coding agents can call fastbrowse directly, and paid hosted plans add higher run limits, longer run history, secrets, profiles, schedules, webhooks, session recordings and an audit log.
It is suited to developers and product teams who need reliable browser automation inside their own apps or coding agents.
