Futureproof is an AI-powered finance team that runs on its own general ledger, built for startups and ecommerce businesses that want their books closed and reported without hiring a full finance department.
Rather than sitting on top of existing accounting software, Futureproof is the ledger itself. Every bank line, card charge, bill, invoice and customer payment posts there first, and every figure you read traces back to a journal entry you can open.
The work is split between six AI agents, each owning one lane. Vic is the bookkeeper who reconciles bank feeds overnight, Remi handles accounts receivable and drafts payment reminders, Theo codes vendor bills and schedules pay runs, Margo runs FP&A and cash forecasting, Hugo is a RevOps analyst who flags margin and fee changes, and Nia manages investor updates and the data room.
Key features include a general ledger reconciled every night, cash forecasts refreshed from posted entries that show the weeks where the balance drops below a set minimum, scenario modelling against the quarter's cash, and a monthly review call with a human financial specialist who checks the books.
There are versions tailored to businesses that sell products, such as marketplace resellers, CPG brands and private label importers, with payouts matched across channels, landed cost on every purchase order and margin per SKU. Businesses moving from QuickBooks or Xero can migrate their books across, and every integration is included in the plan.
Pricing: Futureproof starts at US$1,000 per month for the whole company, covering all six agents, the ledger and the specialist review, with no per-seat fees or modules. A 14-day trial is available, and plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time. A Startup Program offers reduced pricing for companies under US$200K in ARR or GMV, and larger businesses are scoped on a call.
