Panel & Ink is an AI-powered comic studio that turns a one-line story idea into a comic series. You type a premise and it develops a cast, writes the issues, draws every panel and produces narrated issues ready to post on a schedule.
A language model writes the scripts and image models draw the panels under your direction. Every finished issue carries an AI disclosure label, and no drawing skills are needed.
Key features include an editable title, premise, cast and locations, model sheets that keep each regular character looking the same across panels and issues, and a writer that reads the running story before each issue to keep continuity, callbacks and cliffhangers.
Scripts get a blind read by five readers who see only the narration before panels are drawn. Review controls let you approve everything, approve only rough drafts or let it run, set per comic. There are twenty-eight house looks, including Silver-Age Halftone, Carved Noir, Webtoon Colour, Shonen Ink, Ligne Claire, Pop Art and Risograph Zine.
Finished issues can be exported as a narrated video, a zip of panels with captions, or a shareable link to a readable page. You own your premises, edits and finished issues, and the company says it does not train models on them.
Pricing: new accounts get 35 welcome credits with no card required, which covers a first issue and lapses after 14 days. Paid plans start at $19 a month, and credit packs that do not expire are available. An issue costs about 20 credits, or about 25 in a premium look, and the cost is shown before you commit.
It is suited to writers, creators and hobbyists who want to publish an ongoing comic or webcomic series without drawing it themselves.
