Tradebreath is an AI-powered trading strategy backtesting platform that lets traders replay markets tick by tick by hand, or describe a strategy in plain language and have an agent build and run it.
Both modes work on the same market data and feed into the same order list, so an AI backtest arrives as a set of orders that you can open on the chart and keep trading by hand while the replay runs.
The data covers forex, stocks, crypto, commodities, indices, ETFs and bonds, with more than 800 symbols, up to 20 years of history and timeframes from tick and one second through to monthly. Tick history includes L1 bid and ask so fills happen at the price that existed at that moment. You can also upload your own OHLCV or tick CSV file, which is parsed in the browser.
The agent can set up and run a full backtest from chat, write strategies with entries, exits, stops, targets and sizing as readable rules, and write custom indicators that can be drawn on the chart.
Key features include multi-chart replay across symbols and timeframes, drawing tools and candlestick patterns, more than 36 built-in indicators, and version history for strategies so you can fork a version and compare runs.
Strategies and indicators can be exported as Pine Script for TradingView, MQL5 for MetaTrader 5, or Python for your own research stack.
Each session ends with a report covering net profit, profit factor, win rate, expectancy, max drawdown, Sharpe ratio, a performance calendar, Monte Carlo simulation and an AI summary of the results.
Pricing: a Free plan offers one year of historical data, 20 symbols, limited charting and trades per session. Pro is $10 per month with up to 20 years of daily-updated data, 800+ symbols, unlimited charts and trades and AI analysis. Max is $20 per month with four times the Pro credits. Yearly billing offers a discount.
It is suited to day traders, forex and crypto traders, and portfolio managers who want to test and refine strategies before trading live.
