Cliphi is an AI video clipping tool that turns long videos such as podcasts, livestreams, interviews, gaming sessions and tutorials into short vertical clips for YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels.
You paste a link or upload a file, and it scans the full video, analysing speech, energy and engagement signals to find likely viral moments. Each moment gets a viral potential score, and you can use custom prompts to search for specific kinds of moments.
It accepts links from YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, Pinterest and Google Drive, as well as MP4, MOV and WebM uploads. It can also clip livestreams in real time, with clips arriving while the stream is still live.
Key features include word-by-word animated captions, speaker face tracking, AI instrumental background music, AI hooks and titles, post descriptions, supercuts, react and voiceover clips, scene transitions, style and brand presets, intros, outros and thumbnails.
Clips can be exported in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9 formats without a watermark, and posted or scheduled directly to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, Threads and X. Rendering usually takes 2 to 5 minutes per clip.
It works in a web browser on phone or desktop, and there is an Android app on Google Play.
