CuriousLM is an AI chat assistant that runs the language model entirely on your own phone or computer, so your chats are written and stored on that device. There is no account and no chat server.
It is pitched as a private place to think out loud. You can talk through a decision, a hard message or a plan, typed or by voice, and the reply is generated on the device.
Words the model was unsure about stay underlined. Tapping one shows the other words that nearly came next, so you can see the odds and take the answer another way.
CuriousLM ships its own model, Curious 2B, built on Qwen3.5 2B and trained for phone tasks such as messages, calendar and reminders. Other local models can also be downloaded, and once a model is downloaded it works offline.
Key features include on-device voice, Pocket Wikipedia, reminders, search across your messages, journal, chats and documents, and a Heat view. Chats are encrypted and stay on the device they were written on.
The Android app adds extra features with your permission: it reads notifications and your calendar to tell you who is waiting on a reply and what is due, warns you about likely scam texts, adds events to your calendar by voice, and explains photos of letters or bills.
The web version runs in the browser and the Android app is in open beta on Google Play. Devices with 8 GB of RAM or more are recommended.
