Living Brain is a persistent, self-learning memory layer for AI models, apps and agents, made by ChatAndBuild. It captures the knowledge in your AI conversations, connects it to what you already know and turns it into memory that keeps evolving.
That memory can be shared across AI tools through a REST API, SDK, CLI and MCP, and the site states it is compatible with more than 60 AI platforms. You can also connect custom MCPs to link your own tools and data.
It compiles scattered conversations, files and updates into structured, source-linked knowledge. Brains are scored on measures such as markdown quality, memory worthiness, placement fit, connection resonance and re-entry priority, with suggestions for improvement.
Key features include semantic search, connection discovery, scheduled daily briefs, page version history, notes and URL capture, document extraction from PDF, DOCX, PPTX, HTML and text files, and audio transcription.
The company reports internal benchmark results of 92.2% judged accuracy on LoCoMo, a median memory retrieval time of 464 ms, and around 22.6 times fewer tokens per question than a full-context baseline on LongMemEval-S.
The Living Brain Workspace runs inside ChatChat, the company's no-code workspace, with Slack integration, Telegram capture and webhooks.
Pricing: the Living Brain API is pay as you go at $8 per 1M input tokens and $0.50 per 1M output tokens, with top-ups from $5 and no subscription. The Living Brain Workspace costs $99 a month and includes three team seats, shared monthly credits, 10 GB storage and 500,000 requests a month. Contract plans are available for larger teams.
It is suited to developers and teams building AI agents and apps that need long-term memory shared across models and tools.
