The Critiqueur is an AI photo critique app that acts as an on-demand photo mentor, reviewing composition, light and framing and telling you what to fix.
It is available on iOS, Android, Windows and macOS. You capture a photo or import one from your gallery, optionally crop, straighten, mirror or adjust it, and submit it for review.
Each critique includes a short quotable verdict, a structured critique of what works and what does not, and AI-generated badges for content, technical quality or improvement over earlier attempts.
You can choose from five critic personas: Le Critique, The Gallery Owner, The Encouraging Mentor, The Picture Editor and The Algorithm, each with its own voice and standards.
A session follows one subject across several attempts, so you can reshoot, compare attempts, view a timeline of verdicts and badges, and share any critique as a card. It also works for picking the best shot from a set, and for drawings, paintings and digital art.
Pricing: trial critiques are included, after which each critique uses one token. There are Apprentice, Connoisseur and Maestro plans billed monthly or yearly, plus token packs that never expire. No account is required, and a subscription can be shared across devices with a link code.
Past sessions are saved automatically with their badges and attempt counts, and a collection grid shows every badge you have earned with its icon, description and the number of times it was awarded.
It is suited to people learning photography, hobbyists who want honest feedback before posting, and artists looking for quick reviews of their work.
