Vaani is an AI-powered voice agent platform for building phone and web calling agents that handle real conversations with customers.
Teams describe the agent in plain language and an assistant called Teacher AI asks clarifying questions about languages, objections, qualifying criteria and handoffs. It then assembles the prompt, voice, language mix and tools, with a readiness score, to produce a deployment-ready agent without writing code.
Key features include natural turn taking, small talk to avoid dead air, realistic voices with emotional tags, automatic switching to the caller's language and dialect, and a stated p90 latency of around 450ms on a multilingual engine.
Agents can use knowledge bases and connected tools, keep memory across calls, share context between agents, handle call screening and voicemail detection, and finish each call with structured data. Prompt changes are shown as a diff for review before they are saved.
It supports web and phone calls on real phone numbers, unlimited agents and knowledge bases, advanced analytics, and enterprise options such as custom carrier arrangements, bring-your-own provider keys, whitelabel and reseller setups.
Pricing: new users can start free on the platform, then pay as you go through a prepaid wallet with usage-based billing for voice, models and carrier, plus a platform fee of 1 rupee per minute. Enterprise plans are on custom terms. Prices are shown in INR and USD.
