agentmash is an open-source multiplayer AI layer for a team's coding agents. It gives every agent on the team a shared context, so each one knows which files a teammate's agent is changing before it makes an edit.
It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, opencode, Antigravity, Devin and other coding agents, each running on the developer's own login. The desktop app runs 8 agents on your own logins, and the command line connects 20 more.
Key features include heads-up warnings before an edit to a teammate's change, path claims so agents divide work before they start, a live view of each repository room with its history and overlaps, an optional strict mode where an edit waits until the agent gives a reason, and MCP tools so an agent can ask who else is in a repo mid-plan.
You can switch between tasks running on different models, @mention a teammate or an agent, and keep skills, chats and automations in sync. It also includes a crew of 22 ready-made Claude Code agents.
File contents stay on your machine. The room only receives the shape of the work, such as file paths, branch names, line counts and the first 500 characters of a prompt. Optional live diffs are held in memory and never written to the database.
Pricing: Free is $0 for up to 2 developers with 1 private repo and 7 days of history. Team is $20 per developer a month, or $16 billed annually, with unlimited private repos and up to 90 days of history. Enterprise starts from $15k a year and includes self-hosting from a private Docker image. Agents are never counted.
It is suited to software teams that run several AI coding agents on the same repositories and want to avoid overwritten code and merge conflicts.
