telemetry.dev is an LLM observability platform for AI applications and agents, built on OpenTelemetry. It shows each run of an AI agent as a single trace, with model calls, tool steps and retrievals shown as spans.
Every span records its duration, token usage, cost and any error, so you can find the slow step in a run, inspect a failed call and see where your budget is going.
Key features include trace search and filters by status, environment, framework or session, cost and latency overviews by model and provider, MCP analytics showing failures and p95 duration by tool, and email alerts for errors, cost spikes, monthly budgets and agent loops.
Prompts and evals use the same traces, so you can change a prompt without a deploy, run it on a dataset and compare the scores with production. You can also turn off prompt capture per environment so prompts and responses are not stored.
It integrates with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gen AI, Amazon Bedrock, OpenRouter and LiteLLM, frameworks such as the Vercel AI SDK, LangChain and LangGraph, CrewAI and Pydantic AI, and coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor. You connect using the TypeScript or Python SDK or any OTLP/HTTP exporter, and a read-only MCP server lets AI agents investigate your traces.
Pricing: the Free plan includes 30,000 ingestion units a month, 14-day retention, 1 project and 2 seats, with no card needed. Pro costs 25 USD a month for 500,000 units, 30-day retention, 5 projects and 5 seats. Team costs 50 USD a month for 2 million units, 90-day retention, unlimited projects and seats, and priority support.
It is suited to developers and teams running AI agents in production who need to debug failures and keep an eye on cost and reliability.
