Flockbay is a free AI game maker built on Godot. It is a desktop app that pairs the standard Godot editor with an AI agent and an MCP server, so you can describe a game and have the agent build it inside a normal Godot 4 project.
The agent writes GDScript and scenes, runs the game, reads Godot's errors and fixes what breaks. Projects are ordinary Godot folders on your own disk, games run locally on a bundled copy of Godot, and projects and assets are kept private.
Key features include headless playtest runs, viewport screenshots, input events, and scene tree and profiler reads. A command palette, permission modes, a review changes panel with per-hunk revert, and Git and GitHub integration help you keep control over what the agent changes.
A video studio cuts trailers and Shorts from recorded gameplay, with captions and music. Marketing tools draft Steam store pages, research comparable games on Steam, and produce a publishable game website, social posts and ad creative.
For assets, Flockbay offers placeholder music generation, a built-in Blender, Tripo 3D placeholder models, ElevenLabs audio and a plugin library.
It works with Godot 4.6 and later, in GDScript and C#. You can use Flockbay's hosted Demo model, your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, OpenRouter or your own API key, and connect agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Cline. It also works with VS Code, Cursor, Rider and Zed, and runs on Windows, macOS (Apple Silicon), Linux and Chromebooks with Linux enabled.
Pricing: the Free plan includes a daily allowance of hosted AI, unlimited use of your own AI and one free video studio video. Paid plans are Hobby at $20 per month, Indie Developer at $60 per month and Studio at $200 per month. They add more hosted AI usage and models, plus published sites, playtest links, social accounts and ad accounts.
It is suited to solo and indie game developers, especially Godot users who want an AI agent to help build, test and market their games.
