Vectoree is an AI backend platform for coding agents that bundles a model gateway, tools, templates, auth, database and storage into one cloud project.
It is built so that a coding agent can set up and use the backend itself. The agent installs the Vectoree skill, logs in and links a project with the Vectoree CLI, picks a model and then calls the gateway or creates database tables using atomic CLI commands.
The Model Plaza gateway gives one project key across providers including xAI, OpenAI, Google, Anthropic and DeepSeek. The gateway is OpenAI-compatible, so an app can use the OpenAI SDK with the Vectoree base URL. A vectoree/auto model is offered as a default starting point.
Key features include a Tool Hub that reaches tools such as Vectoree Search, Similarweb, Semrush and Ahrefs over MCP, starter project templates with prompts for your agent, sign-up and sign-in auth for your app's users, one Postgres database per project with row filtering by signed-in user, and file storage in public or private buckets.
A one-command setup script points the Codex CLI or the ChatGPT desktop app at the Vectoree model gateway, and an agent prompt is provided for Cursor, Claude Code or other coding agents. Docs, a blog and a GitHub skills repository are available.
Pricing: there is no monthly fee. You can sign up and create a project for free, receive a 5 US dollar welcome credit after CLI login and project link, and then top up an organisation wallet through Stripe on a pay-as-you-go basis, with gateway calls billed per model. Auth, database and storage are included.
It is suited to developers and teams who build apps with AI coding agents and want a single backend and model gateway that the agent can operate from demo to production.
