Vertech Academy is an AI-powered study platform that gives students step-by-step help from more than 30 subject tutors, with ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini built in. Students can upload class notes and get guided explanations rather than just answers.
Tutors cover subjects such as calculus and maths, biology and medicine, chemistry and essays. Answers can be grounded in uploaded PDFs and lecture notes, with key concepts extracted from each document.
Key features include a tutor switcher with specialised subject tutors, Pocket Quiz for active recall, daily study streaks with a 2-minute daily review, quick recall cards, and tools that condense lecture slides into one-page cheat sheets.
It also includes step-by-step study courses, a library of more than 35 copy-paste exam and essay prompts, and more than 120 study guides. The site says the prompts are designed to work on the free tiers of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.
A Generalist Teacher chat is available for 30 free questions a day without logging in, and sign-in is through Google.
Pricing: Mini is $9 per month with 35 questions every 3 hours. Plus is $29 per month with 100 questions every 3 hours and a 14-day free trial. Unlimited is $97 per month with 300 questions every 3 hours, course certificates and priority support, also with a 14-day free trial. Paid plans carry a 60-day money-back guarantee.
It is suited to high school and university students doing homework, revising notes and preparing for exams.
