Aside is an AI-powered meeting notes and live call guidance app for Mac and Windows that records calls without a bot, transcribes them and writes them up.
It gives live coaching for sales calls, pitches and interviews from a small pill that sits just under your camera, so you can keep eye contact while you read its suggestions.
Before a call you write a plan with your goals and ready answers, such as pricing or security details. During the call your goals show as dots that fill in as you cover them, one line suggests what to ask next, and your prepared answer appears when the other person asks a matching question.
Before each call Aside can research who you are meeting, including who they are, what to ask and what to avoid. After the call it produces a summary, the goals you reached, next steps, a follow-up email, the other side's questions and objections, and a record of what each side promised.
Recording happens on your computer from your microphone and system sound, so no bot joins the meeting, and the pill and cards stay hidden when you share your screen. An on-device speech model transcribes English and 24 European languages, and recordings stay on your computer.
It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack huddles, FaceTime, Webex, browser calls and in-room meetings. You can connect Claude or ChatGPT to ask about past meetings or plan the next one, and press a keyboard shortcut in any app to add a timed note to the transcript.
Pricing: the Free plan includes unlimited recording, notes and transcripts plus live guidance and write-ups on 2 calls a week. Pro costs USD 48 a month, or USD 38 a month billed yearly, and adds guidance on every call and research briefs. New accounts get 14 days of Pro with no card. A Team plan is listed as coming soon.
