Chatway is an AI-powered live chat and customer support platform that lets businesses talk with customers across their website and messaging channels from one shared inbox.
Its built-in AI Support Agent is trained on your website and knowledge base, answers customer questions around the clock in multiple languages, and hands conversations over to your team when a person is needed.
You can also bring your own AI agent. Tools such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor can connect to Chatway through MCP, with you choosing what the agent can access, so it can tag chats, hand off and help your team. Developers can receive signed webhook events and reply through the REST API, which is included on every plan.
Key features include a shared team inbox, web, iOS and Android apps, real-time translation of incoming messages, live visitor insights, canned responses, FAQs inside the chat widget, pre-chat forms, post-chat surveys, private notes, chat routing and automated workflows triggered by chats, form submissions and page visits.
It connects to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, X, email and phone, and has deep integrations with Shopify and WooCommerce so the AI can look up products, carts and orders in real time. Apps are also available for WordPress, Wix, Square, BigCommerce, Ecwid, Thinkific and other platforms, along with a Mailchimp integration.
Pricing: a Free Forever plan covers 1 seat and 50 conversations a month. Paid plans include Business at US$39 a month (US$31 billed yearly) and Plus at US$199 a month (US$159 billed yearly), both with a 14-day free trial, plus custom Enterprise pricing. The AI Support Agent is an add-on on every plan at US$0.50 per resolved conversation, with 10 free AI conversations to start.
