BetterZap is a Chrome extension for WhatsApp Web that auto-replies to clients, schedules messages and keeps a light CRM, with an optional AI chatbot that answers from your own knowledge base.
It is built for small businesses that sell and serve over WhatsApp, such as clinics, salons, shops, freelancers and resellers.
Auto-reply uses ready-made models for each business type. You fill in your name, hours and address, turn it on, and BetterZap answers clients with numbered menus. Models can be edited, extended or built from scratch, and replies never go to groups.
On the Premium plan, an AI chatbot answers clients from your own knowledge base, with up to 2,000 AI replies a month, and passes the conversation back to you when it does not know the answer.
Other features include scheduled messages with templates and the client's first name, appointment reminders that never send after the appointment, a client pipeline with your own stages, notes and follow-up dates, clear message status, and CSV export.
Contacts, messages and notes stay in your browser, or in your own Google Drive if you use the phone panel. It only sends while Chrome is open and WhatsApp Web is signed in, one message to one person at a time, and is not a bulk messaging tool. It is not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta.
Pricing: the free plan covers 20 messages a day. Paid options are 2 US dollars for one day, 5 US dollars a week or 10 US dollars a month for unlimited messages and auto-reply, and Premium at 20 US dollars a month adds the AI chatbot. A 7-day free trial needs no card.
